As a performer and theatre creative Paula is currently developing several projects, and has devised and written a number of pieces and plays (detailed below).
SISTERS IN WAITING
written by Paula Hamilton (Paula James)
Sisters In Waiting (submitted under her writing name Paula Hamilton) had a public rehearsed reading at a Stitchin' Fiction night at the Theatre Deli in Broadgate, London in 2019.
Directed by Nieve Hearity and performed by some fantastic actors this short play about two estranged sisters forced to face their issues in a cramped solicitor's hallway was electrifying, as was the audience Q&A afterwards.
BED AIR
written by P Hamilton (Paula James)
In the summer of 2017 Paula's short play Bed Air was chosen to feature in a week long run at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre. Submitted under her writing name P Hamilton, this intimate 2 hander joined a collection of short plays in a show called What Keeps Me Awake, directed by Carl Fletcher for KDC Theatre.

Gingerbread Man
Deviser & Performer
In 2017 working up in Derby with Ivan Stott of Hiccup Theatre Company, Sarah Brigham and John Holt-Roberts, Paula helped devise the wonderfully successful Gingerbread Man which went on to tour the UK in 2018, and has since been revived and toured with a new cast.
PRICE TAG
Deviser & Performer
In 2014 Paula worked with the fantastic Red Earth Theatre Company up in Derby. After the success of their first project Emil And The Detectives, her second time working with the brilliant Amanda Wilde and Wendy Rouse, was to devise this short tour Price Tag.
Duvet Day
Deviser & Performer
In 2014, Theatre Delicatessen presented a Theatre Souk entitled SPACED 2014 in thier then Marelybone home. Working with Touchpaper Theatre, Paula helped devise the immersive piece Duvet Day which both explored and breached the boundaries between comfort and confrontation.
ELECTRA
Deviser & Performer
In 2011 Paula and the fanastic cast devised Lazarus Theatre Company's striking retelling of the Greek Tragedy Electra. Under the brilliant direction of Gavin Harrington-Odedra the show was performed as part of the summer rep season at The Space.
Stronger Even Than Me Is We (or Woof Woof Kerching)
Deviser & Perrformer
In 2008 Paula returned to the Battersea Arts Centre to work with Inspector Sands on this surreal and thrilling devised piece Stronger Even Than Me Is We directed by Ben Lewis.
A PUPPET IN THE WORKS
Deviser & Performer
In 2004 Paula worked with the incredible Blind Summit at the Battersea Arts Centre. Working with Mark Down to devise this quirky puppet show A Puppet In The Works.
